Reliant Credit Union recently provided 75 pairs of sneakers to North Rose-Wolcott Elementary School, enhancing the school’s Courage Closet which supports students with essential items like clothing and toiletries. The initiative, in partnership with Jonathan Griffiths of Rochester Running Company, facilitates the selection and purchase of high-quality sneakers. This ongoing collaboration underscores Reliant’s commitment to fostering health and well-being among children, as emphasized by Reliant’s President & CEO, Pamela Heald, who highlighted the program’s role in promoting health, happiness, and possibilities for children.

Since the inception of Feet Forward, Reliant Credit Union has donated over 2,286 pairs of sneakers, representing an investment of more than $66,500. The latest donation was warmly received by the school community, with UPK Teacher Lucia Copeland expressing gratitude for the support that allows the school to meet the footwear needs of its students effectively.
