The Pal-Mac Theater Department recently contributed $1,000 to Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), a gesture made possible through community support of their latest production. Theater Director Kimberly Day presented the donation on Saturday, April 13, highlighting the department’s tradition of sharing a portion of their ticket sales with charitable causes.

The funds were raised during performances of “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.” This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to benefit various organizations, with BACA being the chosen recipient for this event. The selection of BACA was both initiated by Day and approved by the students involved in the production.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to impact their community positively, Day remarked on the importance of utilizing the arts for philanthropy. The donation aims to assist BACA in their mission to empower and support children, underscoring the theater department’s dedication to making a meaningful difference beyond the stage.
