The No. 2 Syracuse women’s lacrosse team had its nine-game win streak snapped on Thursday night with an 11-10 loss to No. 6 Boston College.

The Orange ended the regular season at 12-4, including 8-1 in ACC play.

Syracuse won the draw to start overtime but couldn’t convert as Shea Dolce saved Smith’s shot. The Eagles moved the ball into their offensive zone, and Cassidy Weeks scored her third goal of the night to give Boston College the victory.

Olivia Adamson recorded a hat trick for the Orange. Natalie Smith, Savannah Sweitzer, and Emma Ward scored two goals apiece, while Emma Tyrell added one.

Box Score

Syracuse will play in the ACC Tournament as the No. 1 seed on Wednesday, April 24, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
