Wine exhibit opens at Seneca Falls museum

The Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry introduced its latest exhibit, “A History of Wine in the Finger Lakes,” celebrating the region’s ascent as a premier wine-producing area in the U.S. The exhibit opened on Saturday, April 27, at the museum located in Seneca Falls, New York.

During the free public reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, visitors had the opportunity to experience the first viewing of the exhibit while enjoying complimentary wine tastings. Local wineries such as Montezuma, Bully Hill, Knapp, and Airy Acres offered samples of their renowned wines.

The exhibit aims to educate visitors on the rich history of wine production in the Finger Lakes, highlighting its evolution and its status as a rival to Napa Valley. The event catered to wine aficionados and casual drinkers alike, offering a taste and learn experience unique to the area.
