Corning has been recognized as one of the top small towns in the United States for its vibrant cultural scene, ranking seventh on USA Today’s Best Small Town Cultural Scene list for 2024. This distinction highlights the city’s rich artistic offerings, including the renowned Corning Museum of Glass and the Rockwell Museum.

The city’s Gaffer District was praised as a central hub of artistic expression, contributing significantly to Corning’s cultural allure. Attractions in this district, along with the extensive collections at the museums, played a key role in securing Corning’s spot on the list.

This accolade marks Corning as the only location in New York State to be featured on the list, underlining its unique cultural impact. The selection process involved a panel of experts who nominated towns, with the final decision made through public voting, emphasizing popular recognition of Corning’s cultural richness.
