The Inn at Taughannock Falls recently announced the appointment of Richard Calton as the new Executive Chef for the 2024 season. Having honed his culinary skills under the guidance of renowned Chef David Burke, Calton brings over three decades of experience from prestigious New York City venues and an international stint in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to Trumansburg. Located near Taughannock Falls State Park, the Inn’s restaurant has been a beloved destination for 77 years, offering diners stunning views of Cayuga Lake. With a focus on Mediterranean-inspired dishes crafted from fresh, high-quality, and local ingredients, the restaurant provides an unparalleled atmosphere complemented by relaxing fire pits and a majestic outdoor fireplace. Calton’s arrival is set to elevate the culinary offerings further, reinforcing the Inn’s reputation as a premier dining and event location.

Guests are encouraged to experience the enhanced dining service, available Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., while the bar remains open nightly. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
