Waterloo man steals car and debit card, later found in Geneva

Police arrested a 51-year-old Waterloo man on several charges after he stole a vehicle and debit card in late-March.

According to a news release, Eugene Dailey was arrested for grand larceny, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal contempt, and aggravated family offense. The latter is a felony, police noted, who say Dailey stole a vehicle and debit card, and through that process violated a court order.

He was located with the stolen vehicle in the city of Geneva and taken into custody without incident.

He was transported to the Seneca County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
