The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a personal injury accident that happened on East Bay Road in Huron Saturday sending one person to the hospital.
Kody Luckenback, 19, of Sodus was found inside a vehicle, which had collided with a tree around 10:45 p.m.
Deputies said his vehicle had been traveling south on East Bay Road, and left the roadway before colliding with the tree.
He was partially conscious at time of first responders’ arrival. They extricated him from the vehicle, with Wolcott Fire Department personnel on-scene, then airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The cause of the crash remains active. It’s believed Luckenback suffered a head injury in the accident.
