Marcus Whitman Winterguard Takes Fourth in Circuit Championships

The Marcus Whitman Marching Wildcats Winterguard secured a commendable fourthplace finish in the Regional A Class at the North East Color Guard Circuit Championships. The event, held on Saturday, April 6th, took place at Gates Chili High School, where the Winterguard delivered their final performance of their 2024 production, titled ‘IMAGINE.’

Earning a score of 79.85, the Winterguard trailed only Naples, Gates Chili, and Corning-Painted Post in their championship performance. Their show, set to the titular John Lennon song, focused on promoting peace, unity, and friendship through art.

The group was under the combined direction of Sandra Herman, Amelia Rasmussen, and Michelle Boylan. Marcus Whitman Winterguard is open to Marcus Whitman students in grades 6-12.
