The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Auburn man for falsely reporting an incident last year.
On April 4 around 11:30 a.m. deputies arrested Jessie Wright, 26, of Auburn was formally charged with falsely reporting an incident.
On July 26 around 3:30 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a Conquest home for a reported domestic incident. Following an investigation, deputies determined that Wright falsely reported a domestic incident involving the partner of another inmate.
A warrant was filed for falsely reporting an incident. While in custody on other charges, Wright was arraigned on the falsely reporting charges.
