Police in Penn Yan arrested an adolescent offender following an investigation into a vehicle that was taken from a business without the owner’s permission.
According to a news release, the 17-year-old who was not identified as charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The charges stem from an incident where the teen took a vehicle from a local business, and then returned it. The teen never had permission of the vehicle’s owner to take it, which resulted in the investigation and subsequent arrest.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
