The Yates County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update on a crash that happened on March 23 in the town of Starkey.

Deputies were dispatched to State Route 14A. The crash took place in the early afternoon and involved a single vehicle driven by Marina Partridge, a 25-year-old from Dundee.

Partridge lost control of her car while driving south on Route 14A, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and collide with a guide rail. The car then skidded into a ditch, finally coming to a stop.

Following the crash, Partridge reported experiencing neck and shoulder pain, prompting her transportation to Schuyler Hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, the injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.
