The Buffalo Sabres will get one of their young forwards back in the lineup Wednesday for the final 10 games of the regular season.

Head coach Don Granato told reporters that Jack Quinn will return to the lineup against the Ottawa Senators and will skate on a line with Dylan Cozens and JJ Peterka.

Quinn hasn’t played since January 27, when he suffered a lower-body injury that required surgery. He also missed the first two months of the season after having Achilles surgery.

In 17 games this season, Quinn has scored five goals and tallied seven assists.

While the Sabres haven’t been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, they sit eight points behind the Washington Capitals for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
