The New York Mets have announced that Thursday’s scheduled Opening Day game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Citi Field has been postponed due to forecasted rain. It will be rescheduled for Friday, March 29, at 1:40 p.m.

This is the second game in Major League Baseball to be rained out after the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies matchup was pushed back a day.

Jose Quintana is scheduled to start for the Mets, while Freddy Peralta will get the ball for Milwaukee.
