The 6-seed Syracuse women’s basketball team (24-7, 13-5 ACC) is set to face 3-seed UConn in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Monday at 6 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.

Syracuse advanced to the second round for the seventh time in program history after taking down 11-seed Arizona 74-69 on Saturday afternoon behind a 32-point performance from Dyaisha Fair.

The Orange trailed by five with three minutes left in the contest before Fair outscored the entire Arizona team 13-3 to close it out and secure the win. Her 32 points set a program record for most points by an SU player in an NCAA Tournament game.

The winner of Monday’s game will advance to the Sweet 16 to face off against Duke on March 30.
