The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Auburn man on felony charges after an investigation into an incident on March 18.
According to authorities, Drequan Thomas, 28, was arrested for criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.
The charges stem from him contacting a person who was protected by an active court order.
He’s further accused of violating the court order while incarcerated at the Cayuga County Jail. The new charges will be answered at a later date.
