Deputies took a Baldwinsville man into custody on an arrest warrant after a domestic dispute investigation in Wayne County.
According to a news release, Austin Bierce, 29, was arrested for first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, unlawful imprisonment, obstruction of breathing, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment.
The charges stem from an incident over the weekend where he choked a woman in front of two children and refused to let her go. She eventually used pepper spray to flee.
He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
