Deputies arrested a Clyde man following a family trouble investigation on John Street during the overnight hours.
Around 12:30 a.m. deputies arrested Daniels Evans Jr., 34, of Clyde after he allegedly bit a person on the face, restrained them, subjected them to unwanted physical contact, and took their phone so they were unable to call 911 for help during a family trouble incident.
Evans was ultimately charged with harassment and criminal mischief.
Deputies said in a release he was taken to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment. The charges will be answered at a later date.
