The Newark Police Department reports the arrest of a local man following an altercation at the intersection of Finch and West Union streets.
Patrick Ahlers, 27, of Newark is accused of striking a person with a skateboard. He’s also accused of striking the victim’s car with the skateboard causing damage.
He was charged with criminal mischief and harassment.
A stay away order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim and the charges will be answered at a later date in village court.
