Seneca Falls teen threatens aunt, second victim with knife during dispute on Sunday

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a local teen after a domestic incident over the weekend.

On March 3 around 5 p.m. police arrested Phillip Romano, 18, after he struck his aunt in the face and hit her multiple times after pulling a knife on her.

Romano is then accused of going after his aunt’s boyfriend as he was trying to split up the dispute. During that portion of the incident, the second victim was threatened with the same knife.

He was charged with two counts of menacing, one count of criminal possession of a weapon, one count of criminal mischief, and one count of harassment.

The charges will be answered at a later date, but an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victims.
