The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office says they’re investigating a serious accident that happened around 2 p.m. on Sunday along County Route 23.
First responders were called to County Route 23 after a pickup truck left the roadway near Aikens Road and went airborne. Deputies said in a release Sunday night that the truck hit a guide rail and went down an embankment before rolling onto it’s roof.
The sole occupant was Donald Gee, 64, of Dundee, who was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and transported to Guthrie Corning Hospital.
He appeared to be in stable condition, according to deputies, who said the investigation into the crash remains active.
