Dylan Cozens scores two shorthanded goals as Sabres roll past Golden Knights

Dylan Cozens netted two shorthanded goals as the Buffalo Sabres rolled past the Vegas Golden Knights, 7-2, at the KeyBank Center Saturday night.

Buffalo (29-28-4) jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Vegas knotted the game at two, but the Sabres regained the lead late in the second period and scored four in the third to notch the win.


Jeff Skinner (20), Zemgus Girgensons (7), Kyle Okposo (12), Owen Power (4), and Casey Mittelstadt (14) also found the back of the net.

Buffalo went 1-for-1 on the power play and 1-for-2 on the penalty kill.

The Sabres will host the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday at 7 p.m. as they go for their third straight win.
