The Dove Block Project in Geneva is set to unveil three captivating art exhibits on March 2nd, promising a diverse exploration of artistic expression through March 31st at 465 Exchange Street. Among the highlights is Daniel Rothenberg’s “The Magical World of Alternative Process Photography,” showcasing the Rochester-based artist’s experimental ventures beyond traditional camera work. Rothenberg, a Nazareth University fine arts graduate, explores the enchanting realms of cyanotype, chemigram, and lumen print techniques in his photography.

Joining Rothenberg is Joe Demetro with his exhibit “Nowhere’s Better,” an exploration into the realms of paper-making and ceramics. Demetro revisits and reimagines the art of paper-making, marrying it with his ceramic expertise to create pieces that defy traditional constraints, allowing for a more spontaneous and intuitive creation process.

The “Tiny Celestial Art Show,” presented in collaboration with Geneva Reads, rounds out the trio of exhibits. This unique showcase features miniature artworks inspired by the solar eclipse, adding a cosmic dimension to the gallery’s offerings. Accompanied by live music from Unholy Alliance at the opening reception, these exhibits are accessible to all, thanks to the support from grants, memberships, sponsorships, and donations, reinforcing The Dove Block Project’s commitment to enriching the community with diverse artistic experiences.
