Syracuse’s Dyaisha Fair moves into fifth on NCAA women’s basketball scoring list

Syracuse guard Dyaisha Fair moved into fifth place on the NCAA Division I’s all-time scoring list on Sunday.

The Rochester native scored 23 points in a 63-53 win over Pittsburgh, which raised her career total to 3,302, passing Brittney Griner, who scored 3,283 for Baylor from 2009 through 2013.

Fair trails only Jackie Stiles (3,393), Kelsey Mitchell (3,402), Kelsey Plum (3,527) and Caitlin Clark (3,617).

Syracuse visits North Carolina State (23-4, 11-4) at 7 p.m. Thursday to wrap up its regular-season slate before preparing for the ACC tournament.
