Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson announced the arrest of Jor L Velasquez-Guer, a 31-year-old resident of Waterloo on DWI charges.
The arrest occurred on February 19 following a traffic stop in the Village of Waterloo for a non-functioning headlight.
During the stop, law enforcement officials determined that Velasquez-Guer was operating his vehicle under the influence, leading to his arrest.
The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
