Homeless man taken into custody at Victor Mobil station after failing to appear for unlawful imprisonment

Deputies say a 40-year-old Ontario County man was arrested after a warrant investigation related to serious charges.

Brian Strapp, 40, who was listed as homeless on a press release from the sheriff’s office, was taken into custody at the Mobil station on State Route 96 in Victor on Saturday.

He was wanted on a warrant out of Farmington Town Court for failing to appear on unlawful imprisonment, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and obstruction of breathing charges.

He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ontario County Jail.
