The Buffalo Sabres capped off a four-game homestand with a 4-0 loss to the Florida Panthers on Thursday night.

Buffalo (23-26-4) outshot Florida 45-31 but went 0-for-2 on the power play and couldn’t get one past Florida’s backup goaltender Anthony Stolarz.

Rasmus Dahlin recorded a game-high eight shots on goal, while Dylan Cozens and Tage Thompson finished right behind him with five apiece.

Eric Comrie got the start in goal for Buffalo after Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was held out due to an injury. The netminder stopped 27-of-30 shots in his first NHL game since December 5.

Box Score

The Sabres will visit the Minnesota Wild on Saturday for a 5 p.m. faceoff.
