Auburn’s new mayor, outgoing superintendent to appear on CCC public affairs shows with Guy Cosentino this week

Cayuga Community College’s public affairs programming makes a return this week, featuring Auburn’s newly elected Mayor James “Jimmy” Giannettino on “Inside Government with Guy Cosentino.” Set to air Tuesday and Thursday, Mayor Giannettino will discuss his new role, objectives for the city, and economic development plans. The program aims to provide insights into the mayor’s transition from city councilor and his vision for Auburn.

Following “Inside Government,” “Beyond The Front Page with Guy Cosentino” will host Geoffrey Starks from the Cayuga Museum of History and Art to talk about current exhibits and the eagerly anticipated solar eclipse event in April. This segment will broadcast Tuesday and Thursday, offering viewers a glimpse into the museum’s contributions to local culture and education.

Additionally, Auburn Superintendent of Schools Jeffrey Pirozzolo will share updates on his retirement and the district’s future on “Inside Government.” This episode, airing Thursday and the following Tuesday, highlights significant educational developments and the search for Pirozzolo’s successor. The series, including future discussions with local leaders, serves as a vital link between the community and its representatives, fostering an informed and engaged public.
