The Seneca County Suicide Prevention Coalition announced today that they recently received financial support from long-term partner Seneca Meadows, Inc.
Recently Seneca Meadows supported the 3rd annual Benefit Ride coordinated by the Protectors Motorcycle Club of Upstate NY located in Seneca County. In 2020 the Protectors lost a very close friend to suicide, and started an annual ride to help the coalition.
“On behalf of the Seneca County Suicide Prevention Coalition the generous donation from Seneca Meadows is greatly appreciated. We value the support and continued dedication of those in our community to help prevent suicide in our county and protect all of those that we love. Donations like this will continue to provide services and training to those throughout the county on identifying and being able to openly talk about suicide to instill hope for a better future.” Said Holly Doe, chair of the coalition.
The Seneca County Suicide Prevention Coalition is an inclusive community that openly discusses suicide without stigma and offers hope and healing to those affected by suicide. It strives to provide necessary information and tools to raise public awareness, promote education, create messengers for change, and increase actions to eliminate suicide throughout Seneca County.
