Webster man charged with DWI after Wayne County crash

Deputies say a Webster man is in custody after a lengthy investigation into a crash last month.

Andrew J. Enderlin, 24, of Webster, was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for driving while intoxicated (DWI) following a motor vehicle accident in Walworth. The crash, which resulted in property damage, occurred on Stalker Road on December 8, 2023. During the investigation, Enderlin underwent field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath screening, which indicated the presence of alcohol.

Further analysis of Enderlin’s blood, taken shortly after the crash at Newark Wayne Hospital, revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.19%, well above the legal limit. On January 29, Enderlin was charged with multiple counts, including DWI, aggravated DWI, and other traffic violations.

Enderlin voluntarily turned himself in for processing and is scheduled to appear at Walworth Town Court for further legal proceedings.
