Police arrested an Ithaca man following an investigation late-Friday into an illegal handgun.
Zavierus King was arrested without incident on Cecil Malone Drive with assistance from the Ithaca-Tompkins Specialized Response Team.
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property, both as felonies.
He was arraigned in City Court and will answer the charges at a later date. King was held without bail.
