The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says a Clyde woman has been arrested for allegedly stalking a Seneca Falls Police officer.
According to a news release, Michele Benedict, 52, of Clyde was arrested for stalking and harassment after an ongoing case involving an unnamed Seneca Falls police officer.
Deputies say Benedict called the Seneca Falls Police Department 256 times in an attempt to speak with one officer specifically, despite not having any police matter to report.
She was taken to the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.
