Sodus town plow truck overturns in Saturday crash: Driver taken to Newark hospital

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a snow plow crash involving a local town plow.

On Saturday a little before 2 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the intersection of State Route 104 and South Geneva Road for a crash with injuries.


Upon arrival they found a Sodus Town plow truck overturned in the roadway. The Wallington Fire Department arrived on scene where they were able to extract the driver, who sustained minor injuries as result of the accident.

He was taken to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital by ambulance.

No additional information about what led to the crash was available.
