Quadir Copeland’s buzzer-beater lifts Syracuse over Miami (full coverage) 

The Syracuse Orange returned to the JMA Wireless Dome Saturday afternoon and took down the Miami Hurricanes, 72–69, on Quadir Copeland’s three-pointer at the buzzer. 

With the victory, the Orange improved to 9-0 at home and 13-5 overall.

Five players finished in double figures for Syracuse. JJ Starling led the way with a game-high 22 points, including six three-pointers. Chris Bell poured in 12 points and Copeland netted 11. Judah Mintz and Maliq Brown added 10 points apiece. Mintz also recorded a career-high 13 assists and finished two rebounds shy of a triple-double. 

This was Syracuse’s first win against Miami since January 19, 2021. They had lost the previous three matchups.
