Waterloo man sold crack cocaine and ‘ghost gun’ in Seneca Falls

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Waterloo man following a drug and ghost gun investigation.

According to a news release, Brian Smith, 53, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance, two different counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal sale of a firearm, and criminal sale of a ghost gun.


It is alleged that Smith sold a loaded “ghost gun” and crack cocaine while in the town of Seneca Falls, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date. The sheriff’s office was assisted by New York State Police and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
