Newark is now home to a new multi-million dollar business, Creation Technologies. Celebrating its grand opening, this $22 million facility was partly funded with a $5 million contribution from the state as part of the “Finger Lakes Forward” initiative. The state-of-the-art facility spans 150,000 square feet and is a significant addition to the region’s economic landscape.
Creation Technologies, specializing in global electronics manufacturing, serves sectors such as medical, technology, and military. This new facility currently employs 360 people, contributing to the local job market. Stephen P. DeFalco, Chairman and CEO of Creation Technologies, expressed pride in the Newark facility’s capacity to offer enhanced services and support to their customers.
The Wayne County facility is part of Creation Technologies’ extensive network, with its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, and additional locations across North America and China. The company, employing over 4,000 workers globally, provides electronic contract manufacturing services including printed circuit board assembly, cable and wire harness assembly, and comprehensive prototyping services, primarily focusing on complex, full-system assemblies for life-saving and mission-critical products.
