The AFC Wild Card game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium is postponed until Monday at 4:30 p.m. due to a massive winter storm, New York governor Kathy Hochul announced Saturday.

Hochul said that the storm will be at its fiercest in south Buffalo on Sunday afternoon, which would have been right at kickoff.

A travel ban is being put in place starting Saturday evening through at least 6:00 a.m. Sunday as the city of Buffalo expects 2-3 inches of snow per hour.

It’s the first time that weather has caused an NFL playoff game to be moved to a later date. A January 2017 playoff game between the Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs was delayed from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. due to an ice storm.
