One hospitalized after armed home invasion near Wayne, Monroe county border: Suspects at-large

A late-night armed home invasion in Webster resulted in one person being hospitalized. The incident occurred on Halesworth Lane at approximately 11:46 p.m. on Tuesday. Webster Police are actively investigating the crime.

According to authorities, two men confronted a resident at gunpoint before entering the house and robbing the occupants of their property. One victim sustained injuries during the invasion and was subsequently taken to the hospital. The injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.

Webster Police are now seeking assistance from the community. Residents near Halesworth Lane, Bannerwood Drive, Foxworth Lane, County Line Road (between Ridge and State), and Ridge Road (between Phillips Road and County Line Road) are urged to review footage from their home surveillance cameras between 8 p.m. and midnight on Tuesday. Despite the incident, police have indicated no ongoing threat to the area. The investigation continues, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact 911.
