In a tragic post-game incident, Dylann Isaacs, a 30-year-old Buffalo Bills fan from Six Nations, Ontario, was shot and killed near Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida. The shooting occurred around 11:55 p.m. Sunday after the Bills game against the Miami Dolphins. According to Miami’s ABC affiliate WPLG, the fatal encounter happened during an argument while Isaacs was walking through traffic close to the stadium.
Details from a GoFundMe page set up for Isaacs suggest that the altercation began when the shooter allegedly attempted to hit Isaacs and his friends with a vehicle. Following a brief chase on foot, the gunman reportedly exited the vehicle and fired shots. The suspect’s vehicle was later located in West Palm Beach, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
The GoFundMe campaign, established to assist Isaacs’ family with the costs of transporting his body home and funeral arrangements, has surpassed its $50,000 goal. Police investigations into the shooting continue.
