Trustee shows up to village meeting after indictment in Yates County DWI crash

Mark Cronin, a trustee of the Village of Horseheads, made his first appearance at a board meeting since being indicted on charges related to a DWI incident.

Cronin faces charges of vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and failure to stop at a stop sign, stemming from a July 4 crash in Yates County.

The crash, where Cronin allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, resulted in injuries to several people, including children.

Horseheads village officials have not commented on the matter to date.

He expressed continued concern and support for the victims and their families.
