Bills CB Rasul Douglas named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the New England Patriots.

Douglas had two interceptions, including a 40-yard pick-six, helping the Bills pick up a 27-21 victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. He also had three pass breakups, one of which was tipped up in the air that allowed Ed Oliver to record his first NFL interception.

Since being traded from the Green Bay to Buffalo, Douglas has four interceptions, two fumble recoveries, eight pass breakups, and a sack in seven games.

This marks Douglas’ second Player of the Week award.
