Leslie Church has been re-elected as the chair of the Yates County Legislature in a vote held during the body’s organizational meeting on Tuesday.
The vote, conducted through paper ballots, resulted in a 10-4 victory for Church, securing her leadership position.
First elected as the Legislature chairwoman in January 2022, Church’s new term is set to expire at the end of 2025.
Alongside Church, Edward Bronson was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Legislature.
