The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office gave an update on a car accident that happened at the intersection of 5&20 and County Road 17 in Hopewell.
Betty Sennett, 87, of Stanley, was traveling north on County Road 17 when she failed to stop at the intersection with 5&20 causing a crash.
The second driver, identified as Aidan Woehr, 22, of Canandaigua sustained an injury to his wrist in the wreck. Sennett suffered a chest injury.
The two parties were sent to the hospital for further treatment.
Sennett was cited for failure to stop.
