The speed limit on a local road might be coming down soon.
The Waterloo Town Board was informed that a state Department of Transportation investigation is complete, and reducing the speed limit from 55 to 45 mph would be ‘appropriate’.
Town Supervisor Don Trout told the Board that the next step is getting official, final confirmation from DOT, and then installing new signs.
Mills Road connects to State Routes 96 and 318.
