Deputies arrested a Messena man following a property damage accident on State Route 88 in Sodus.
Cory Blanchard, 45, was charged with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation after the accident, which occurred on December 20 a little before 9 p.m.
It’s alleged that Blanchard operated a vehicle in an intoxicated condition before the accident. Upon investigation, he refused to participate in field sobriety tests. He also refused a chemical test at the sheriff’s office while being processed.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail afterward for processing.
