On December 15 around 8:45 p.m. deputies responded to Scofield Road in the town of Dryden for a one car crash.
Upon arrival deputies located a 2015 Chevrolet Cruz that had crashed into the ditch. Deputies located the driver in the vehicle, identified as Cassandra B. Canada, age 36 of Groton.
Through further investigation deputies determined that Canada was intoxicated.
Canada was arrested and charged with DWI.
She refused to provide a chemical test and was arraigned.
