Bills RB James Cook named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Dallas Cowboys.

Cook had a career-high 221 scrimmage yards (179 rushing, 42 receiving) and found the end zone twice in Buffalo’s 31-10 blowout victory.

He is the first Bills RB since Travis Henry in 2002 to earn the weekly honor.

Cook ranks second in the NFL with 968 rushing yards, trailing San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey, who has 1,292.
