OFFICIAL: Former Ohio State QB Kyle McCord commits to Syracuse

Syracuse has found its new quarterback for the 2024 season.

Former Ohio State QB Kyle McCord confirmed Sunday on social media that he has committed to Syracuse and will play for new head coach Fran Brown.

Brent Axe of Syracuse.com first reported the news late Saturday night.

McCord, who has a year of eligibility remaining, entered the transfer portal on December 4.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound McCord completed 65.8% of his pass attempts for 3,170 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions this past season, leading the Buckeyes to an 11-1 record.
