The Schuyler County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) has decided to grant a new lease to Lucky Hare Brewing for the Seneca Harbor Marina location, concluding the previous lease with Horseheads Brewing.
During a vote on Wednesday night, the IDA chose Lucky Hare Brewing following a comprehensive review process that included scoring by a committee using specific rubrics.
Initially, Horseheads Brewing led in the first round of evaluations with a score of 46.5 against Lucky Hare’s 45.75. However, in a second round that included follow-up questions, Lucky Hare Brewing edged ahead with a score of 49 compared to Horseheads Brewing’s 47.
The IDA’s decision, passed in a 5-0 vote with two abstentions, marks a significant change in tenancy for the marina’s brewery space.
