State police arrested a 19-year-old for threatening his uncle with a knife after an investigation on Water Street.
Jacob Bartosch, 19, is accused of making threats about committing crimes while in the presence of law enforcement.
Troopers were originally dispatched to Water Street to assist a citizen with a homeless situation.
Authorities say Bartosch had received a ride from his uncle to the Department of Social Services, but while they were in the car together – he threatened the 35-year-old man driving with a knife.
He was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
